The center of the creative quarter planned within the framework of this competition will be formed by a new public urban space, stretching from Werder through the Andreaskirche to the Wollmarkt. At the heart of this area, the so-called "Art Mile," lies the Große Hof – a central green park designed both as a place for relaxation and as a venue for artistic activities, functioning as a "Creative Park." The park is flanked by a gallery, which serves as the "hub" of the quarter.

In addition to the gallery, the "House of the Family" will be located at the "Creative Park" of the Große Hof, ensuring the park is lively throughout the day and offering space for a wide range of activities to a diverse group of users.

A water basin that references the historical location of the former Okerarm enhances the quality of stay. It not only recalls the Okerarms that once shaped the city but also serves as a cooling element in the summer and offers a special attraction for outdoor dining.

The primary urban design element of the new creative quarter is the building block. The building blocks that structure the quarter are not "leftover spaces" between surrounding streets in this concept but rather independent, geometrically recognizable urban elements, between which differentiated outdoor spaces emerge. The character of these urban elements is defined by clear, façade-forming exterior walls, while the inner areas are open and transparent. Balconies, loggias, and green façades are incorporated, integrating the central greenery of each building block into the living spaces.
